To assign a thickness value to a surface, use the
following procedure.

Select surfaces that will all have the same thickness.

Select the
Thickness tool in the
Assign properties group on the
Surface ribbon tab.
The
Assign Surface Thickness dialog
opens.

Type a
Thickness value.

Click
OK.
The dialog closes and the thickness value is
assigned to selected surfaces.
You can use the same procedure to change the surface thickness value.
You can also make changes to surface thickness values by selecting the
Material tool in the
Surfaces group on the
Spreadsheet ribbon tab.
