Linear
Generation
|
Opens the
Node linear generation dialog,
which is used to specify the number of nodes to generate between two existing
nodes
|
Circular Generation
|
Opens the
Node circular generation dialog,
which is used to generate a circular arc of from a selection of three nodes.
|
Quadratic Generation
|
Opens the
Node quadrangular generation
dialog, which is used to generate a two-dimensional array (i.e., quadrangle) of
nodes within a boundary set of four selected nodes.
|
Member Generation
|
Select a global direction along which you want to
generate members between the selected nodes. The members will be generated from
each node to the last node in a line along the selected direction.
|
Align Nodes
|
Aligns the selected nodes in a straight path between the two end nodes. This
can be used for member or surface edge nodes.Note: A member does
not need to be selected along with the nodes. However,
if a member or surface is selected, this does not affect
the tool function.
