Add Temperature Load dialog

This dialog is used to add a temperature expansion or temperature gradient load in a surface.

Opens when the Surface Temperature Load tool in the Loads group is selected on the Surface ribbon tab

Load

Select the load case or load group to which this load will be added.

Tip: The current load case or group is the default selection. This is displayed in the program status bar and can be changed on the View ribbon tab in the Active Load group.

Volume Expansion Load

Type the change in Temperature which will cause volume expansion in the members or uniform volume expansion in plates and solids.

Differential Loads

Setting	Description
Vertical (Z) temperature difference	Type the temperature differential from the top to the bottom of the surface. This results in bending.
