For specifying member properties for the structure,
it is more convenient to use length units are millimeter instead of meter. This
requires changing the current length units of input.
The STAAD input file commands
generated are:
UNIT MMS KN
On the
Geometry ribbon tab, select the
Input Units tool in the
Structure group.
The
Set Input Units pop-up opens.
