M. To generate geometry from a STAAD model
This feature can be used to import an existing model which can then be quickly scaled up or down in the Structure Wizard.
- Select Import CAD Models from the Model Type drop-down list.

Either:
The Open dialog opens.
Drag-and-drop the STAAD Model icon into the view window.
or
Double-click the STAAD Model icon.
- Select the STAAD input file (.std) you want to use and click Open. The model geometry is opened in Structure Wizard.
