To detect and then remove nodes which are not
connected to any other model entity (i.e.,
"orphan nodes"), use the following procedure.
In the process of
modeling, disconnected nodes can be created in your model.

On the
Utilities ribbon tab, select the
tool in the
Geometry Tools group.
Any detected orphan nodes are selected in the
view window.

To remove these orphan nodes, on the
Utilities ribbon tab, select the
tool in the
Geometry Tools group.
The detected orphan nodes are deleted.
