Custom template files are created in the
Connection Design workflow.

On the
Connection Design ribbon tab, select the
Connection Database tool in the
Configure group.
The connection database dialog opens.

Click
New group.

Type a New group name then click the X to close the dialog.
The new group is created and selected as the current group.

Click
New table.
The new table dialog opens.

Specify the table parameters:

Select the
Design code to use for these connections.

Select the
Connector type from the drop-down list.

Select the
Joint type for the connections.

Select the
Connector name for the connection.

The context-sensitive help panel provides additional
information on the connector name selection.

Click
OK.
The new table is saved to the custom group.

Repeat Steps 4 and 5 to create additional tables as needed.
