OS. Writing OpenSTAAD in the STAAD.Pro Script Editor
A visual basic editor is embedded within the STAAD.Pro environment. Here, you can create macros that are run from within the STAAD.Pro application to interact with the current STAAD model.
There are several examples of STAAD user tools that ship with STAAD.Pro, along with
the tutorial at the end of this section.
Note: The version of VBA which the editor
supports is not 100% Microsoft VBA compatible. There are a few functions which can
be supported in the Microsoft version of VBA which are not supported in the VBA
editor/compiler which comes with STAAD.Pro. Every attempt is being made to support
these functions.
