I. To extract an archive

To extract the files within an archive, use the following procedure.

You cannot extract an archive when a STAAD input file is open in the program.

Select the Archive tab on the Start page.
Select Create.
Select the File Name of the archive file you want to extract. Click Browse to navigate to the file using a Windows open dialog.
(Optional) Select a Location to where you want the files within the archive extracted. The default location is the same folder containing the archive file.
(Optional) Select the files in the archive you want to extract. All files are selected by default.
Click Extract.
