To export the model geometry to a CIS/2 STEP file, use the following procedure.

1. Select the File ribbon tab. The backstage view opens.
2. Select CIS/2 in the Import/Export tab. A Windows Save As dialog opens.
3. Specify the file name and location and the click Save. The Cis2Link dialog opens.
4. Click Export Model. The data export progress is displayed in the log window.
5. (Optional) Click Save Log File to save this information to a text file.
6. Click Close.
