A. To view analysis output

To open the results of analysis and design, use the following procedure.

You must perform a successful analysis of the STAAD input file in order for the results output to be available.

The results may be view immediately after performing a successful analysis and design run from the STAAD Analysis and Design dialog by selecting the View Output File option and then clicking Done.

From within the STAAD.Pro application window: On the Utilities ribbon tab, select the Analysis Output tool in the View group.
In Windows Explorer: double-click on a STAAD analysis results file (file extension .anl).

The STAAD.Pro Viewer opens.

The Contents tab displays an outline of the file contents when available. The Error List displays any errors, warnings, or messages contained within in the results for quick review.

Note: The controls in the STAAD.Pro Viewer are similar to those available in the STAAD.Pro Editor program window.
