I. To start the editor externally

STAAD.Proエディタ can be run seperately from STAAD.Pro.

Note: STAAD.Proエディタ is not capable of checking for errors when run externally from STAAD.Pro. Additionally, STAAD.Proエディタ cannot perform an analysis on an input file. This must always be done using STAAD.Pro.

In Windows Explorer, navigate to the Editor folder in the STAAD.Pro installation folder. This is typically C:\Program Files\Bentley\Engineering\STAAD.Pro CONNECT Edition\STAAD\Editor .
Either:

double-click the Bentley.Staad.Editor.exe Bentley.TCL.Editor.exe file

or
drag-and-drop a STAAD入力ファイル (file extension .std onto the STAAD.Proエディタ icon.

Tip: You can create a Windows shortcut to the STAAD.Proエディタ program file and add it to your Start menu, desktop, or Windows task bar.

Tip: You can right-click on an .std and select Open with to add the STAAD.Proエディタ to the program list associated with a STAAD入力ファイル.
