SettingDescription
Setup Default Design Parameters

User can also set the default design parameters. If there are members in the model without design parameters, the software will use the default design parameters.

Seismic Option

In the member or element option, user can design all member or selected member. If the model needs seismic design, user can select the “Seismic Design” iconic and choose a proper seismic precautionary intensity.

Note: If the model need consider seismic design, the model need contains seismic load case and the seismic measure grade in member design parameter should also be selected.
Member/Element Option

In the member or element option, user can design all member or selected member. If the model needs seismic design, user can select the “Seismic Design” iconic and choose a proper seismic precautionary intensity.

Optimize Option

The Optimize option can be optimized by group and fast. An iteration number should be entered. The SSDD will calculate and check according to the number of iterations entered. When the group optimized selected, the sections in the group will be the same. When the fast optimized selected, the software will calculate from the minimum section until the section meeting the checking calculation is found. This method is fast but not that the section table should be sorted according to the section area. If the fast optimized don’t selected, the software will find the section with the smallest area in the section database and can meet the specifications.

Design Checks tab

Select the code check you want the program to perform. There are buttons on the left to quickly select those that pertain to strength, stability, displacement, and detailing. There are also selection tools for all, none, or inverting the selection set.
Note: You can hold <Ctrl> to select multiple items.
