D. Standard Toolbar

The Standard toolbox contains icons that enable quick access to commonly used pull-down menu items.

Note: View, Zoom, Rotation, and Margin can also be finely controlled using the Orientation dialog.

Open Re-opens the current STAAD.Pro input file.

File > Re-open

<Ctrl+O>
Save Saves the current open file.

File > Save

<Ctrl+S>
Print Opens the Print dialog.

File > Print

<Ctrl+P>
Print Preview Opens the Print Preview window.

File > Print Preview

 
Report Setup Opens the Report Setup dialog. File > (code) Report Setup  
Take Picture Takes a snapshot of the Graphics Window for use in the Report Setup. Edit > Take Picture  
Page Control Toggles the display of the page control tabs (set to on by default). Mode > Page Control  
Cut Deletes the selected object(s) and copies it/them to the clipboard. Edit > Cut <Ctrl+X>
Copy Copies the selected object(s) to the clipboard. Edit > Copy <Ctrl+C>
Paste Pastes the contents of the clipboard. Edit > Paste <Ctrl+V>
Undo Undoes last operation. Edit > Undo <Ctrl+Z>
Zoom   View > Zoom  
Labels   View > Labels  
Diagram   View > Structure Diagrams  
Front View View the foundation model from the positive Z axis. View > Orientation  
Side View View the foundation model from the positive X axis. View > Orientation  
Plan View View the foundation mode in plan; from the positive Y axis. View > Orientation  
Isometric View (Default view) View the model View > Orientation  
Rotate Up Rotate the foundation model forward about the X axis. View > Orientation  
Rotate Down Rotate the foundation mode backward about the X axis. View > Orientation  
Rotate Left Rotate the foundation model forward about the Y axis. View > Orientation  
Rotate Right Rotate the foundation model backward about the Y axis. View > Orientation  
Increase Margin Decrease the magnification of the view; thus on increasing the white space around the structure in the view. View > Orientation  
Decrease Margin Increase the magnification of the view; thus on reducing the white space around the structure in the view. View > Orientation
