D14.C.6.8 Combined Axial Tension and Bending
Members required to resist both bending moments and an axial tensile force shall be proportioned such that:

where M_{r}
=  ϕM_{p} for class 1 and class 2 sections
= ϕM_{y} for class 3 and class 4 sections

$\frac{{M}_{u}}{{M}_{r}}\frac{{T}_{u}{Z}_{pl}}{{M}_{r}A}\le 1.0$ for class 1 and class 2 sections,
$\frac{{M}_{u}}{{M}_{r}}\frac{{T}_{u}{Z}_{e}}{{M}_{r}A}\le 1.0$ for class 3 and class 4 sections
