Cross section: How to shift the origin ?
When a cross section variant is assigned to a segment point, the origin of the cross section has been positioned onto the axis. There are 3 ways to shift the position:
Use the offsets at the segment point
The cross section can be shift by to values horizontally or vertically, resp. This is not so flexible, because tables and formulas are not available.
Start the definition of the cross section defining 2 auxiliary lines
Knowing the need of a shift (maybe dependent on a table), create at the beginning construction lines parallel to the horizontal and vertical axis. Then use always these lines instead of the axes to reference further objects in the cross section.
