Name

This box is used for boundary name and can not be changed here.
Length
This is display only information. It shows total perimeter of the boundary. This value may help for easier choosing of maximal edge length if subdividing the boundary.
Generate opposite subdivision points
It visits every boundary line segment begin point and sends ray in vertical and horizontal directions. Ray range (length and width) is calculated from boundary area and perimeter. If ray intersects boundary line segment, subdivision point is generated at the intersection. Complete width of the ray has to lie at intersected boundary line segment, otherwise subdivision point is not created. If boundary line segment lies at same position as line segment of neighboring boundary (it looks as if boundaries share same line segment) then ray procedure is repeated in neighboring boundary starting from created intersection. The option is very useful for steel boundaries where many sharp corners exist and small rectangular elements in those corners are expected. Option is also useful for composite cross sections.

Generate global subdivision points
Boundary will be subdivided with global subdivision points if this item is turned on. Old global subdivision points will be deleted if they exist.
Maximal edge length
This is the maximal distance between two subdivision points at the boundary. No subdivision points will be placed at boundary line segment if its length is smaller than given maximal edge length. It is suggested that circle (or its part) should contain at least few subdivision points.
