Description

Action
|
Code of the selected Action. It is possible to switch to
another action without leaving and re-entering the input function.
|
Action will be skipped (Option)
|
The action will be skipped in the calculation process if
the option is selected.
|
Input-1 > Load case name
|
Name of the load case to be used for the ultimate capacity
check or reinforcement design (ULS combination).
Note: For sections with built-in stresses due to stage-wise
erection, the program takes the "joined" results. I.e. it is assumed, that
in-built stresses will be redistributed in the ultimate limit state such that
their distribution corresponds to the built-in-one state (plane strain in the
composite section).
|
Input-1 > UltNxMyMz||Rein
|
Selection of the sub-function to be performed
-
Ult : Ultimate load check for the
current cross-section for forces from the specified envelope. The program
calculates the plastic strain state yielded by the defined ULS combination.
-
Nx : Capacity calculation normal
force. Defines max/min Nx for My, Mz of ULS combination.
-
My : Capacity calculation My.
Defines max/min My for Nx, Mz of ULS combination.
- Mz : Capacity
calculation Mz. Defines max/min Mz for Nx, My of ULS combination.
-
Rein : Option for performing a
reinforcement design if additional mild steel reinforcement is required for
equilibrium within ultimate strain limits.
|
Input-2 > (Initial strain loadcase)
|
Optional entry. Name of the load case, which is used to
calculate the initial strain of the tendons. (Translation in stress-strain
curve for ultimate load analysis)
Note: If a * is entered the program takes the initial
tendon strains from the design load case; if empty (default), from the
summation load case specified in the Recalc pad.
|
Input-3 > (RmSet)
|
Required for ultimate limit checks for columns with
consideration of shape imperfections (in accordance with OENORM and DIN). All
required parameters have to be prepared in the RmSet:
- Accidental
imperfection as RM-Variable (formula as specified in the design code)
- Geometric
parameters (buckling length, definition of element series) for buckling around
Y
- Geometric
parameters (buckling length, definition of element series) for buckling around
Z
|
Input-3 > (Force Component)
|
- Total:Normal -
for non-composite elements (for composite this option gives the join results)
- Total:Split -
for part elements of composites
- Total:Join - for
composite elements
|
Output-1 > (Superposition file)
|
Optional entry. Name of a superposition file for storing
the calculated capacity values. Not used for reinforcement design and standard
ultimate load check. If the file already exists, the capacities will be
superimposed with SupOr. This allows for gathering the least favorite capacity
values (Nx, My, Mz) in a common superposition file.
|
Output-2 > List File
|
Name of list file, whereto results of fibre stress check or
reinforcement design will be written.
Default (*): xxULS.lst with xx denoting the sub-function
(ult, rei). I.e we get the name ultULS.lst if an ultimate check and capacity
calculation is performed, and the name reiULS.lst if a reinforcement design is
performed. No list file will be created if there is no input.
