Upper Table: Table of Load trains
Setting | Description |
---|
Number
Number of the load train
Fact-min
The factors Fact-min and Fact-max allow for
differing between the effect on positive result values (mid-span moment) and
negative result values (hogging moments). Negative result values are multiplied
by the factor Fact-min.
Fact-max
Positive result values are multiplied by the
factor Fact-max.
Function qlen
Name of the variable describing the length
dependency of the intensity of the uniform load (q=q(qlen)). The program
evaluates the effective length of the uniform loading, and the specified load
intensities q are multiplied by the respective function value.
Function Beta
Variable for defining the dependency of lane
factors Beta-i from the loaded length and the lane width (British Standard and
derived codes).
Triangle f.
Code, whether the equivalent triangle load in
case of cusped sections in the influence line shall be adopted.
Load Lb
Only equivalent triangle load considered.
Lower table: Table of Loads of a load train
Setting | Description |
---|
Number
Keyword, currently always
LITEM.
q
Load intensity of the uniform load (line
load) along the block length
Fact-max
Load intensity of the concentric load (axle
load) at begin of the block length
l-from
Length of the block or minimum length in case
of variable block length
l-to
Maximum length of the block in case of
variable block length
l-step
Length step in case of variable block length
q-flag
Key, whether the load is unconditionally
acting over the whole block length, or whether it is variable (value q where
unfavorable, value 0.0 where favorable). Currently only Var (= variablel)
available.
F-flag
Key, whether the load F is unconditionally
considered, or only if unfavorable
-
Fix: F is always considered, even
if being favorable.
-
LRFD: F is only considered if
unfavorable.
AASHTO
Key for the evaluation of hogging moments,
telling whether the load F can act simultaneously in 2 neighbored spans
(Yes).
q-free
Key, whether the block length is defined or
unlimited (Free).
Row 11(without header)
Key, whether the load is also distributed in
lateral direction.
-
Empty: Loads are applied as line
load or concentrated load along the center of the lane.
-
LRFD: Distribution in transversal
direction is considered.

Standard Load Train + Create Live Load Stage
Add predefined template for traffic load analysis including load
trains according to selected standard. By adding one the live load macros, a
stage for traffic and related load trains will be generated automatically.
These live load macros are also available in
Analyzer->Schedule->Extras->Traffic Load Macros.
Note: Traffic lanes need to be defined first. Otherwise, live
load analysis cannot be performed.
Standard Load Train
By adding one the standard load trains, load trains will be
generated automatically. The standard load trains are also available in
Analyzer->Schedule->Extras->Loading and Stages->Load Train
Definitions
.
