Element removing
Definition of the loading due to deactivating elements of the structural system
Setting | Description |
---|---|
From, To, Step | Series of elements being deactivated |
Assembly | Alternative to load assignment via element series: Name of the assembly to be deactivated. All elements of the specified assembly are removed. |
Loadcase || Superposition Name, Name | Summation load case name or superposition file name representing the stress state before the element is removed (sum of permanent load cases applied before the elements are deactivated) |
Combination | Superposition line of the selected superposition file |
Factor | The results from the input (summation) load case will be multiplied by this multiplication factor. |
Initialize the element results in load case | For the removed (deactivated) elements the results in the summation load case will be set to zero if the option is selected. This allows for reactivating these elements at a later point in time and avoids misinterpretations in result presentations where also results of deactivated elements are displayed. This option is not applicable if the initial stress state is taken from a superposition file. |
[OK+Series] | To continue with further input of the same load type |
