This menu contains different special additional functions. These are for instance: Additional modules for special analysis features (e.g. rolling stock analysis), preprocessors and macros for generating extensive input sequences, templates for standardized sequences (e.g. in accordance with a certain design code), creating special output documents, interfaces to detailing software (Rebar) or functions for drawing production and management (RM Draw Manager).

Menu item Description
Rolling Stock Analysis This function provides a fast rolling stock analysis for models of restricted complexity. The function allows for investigating several pre-defined or user defined design trains passing the bridge with different velocities for detecting relevant resonance velocities. Results are the maximum vertical displacement accelerations in relevant points for all trains and velocities.
Structure Manipulation This function allows for modification of structural data at some point in the construction schedule.
Traffic load macros This function provides several macros for automatically defining complex traffic loading in accordance with several design codes.
Pre-Processors

This group of functions comprises the following preprocessors:

  • Preprocessor for Cantilever Schedule (erection in accordance with free cantilever method (FCM)
  • Pre-processor for moving load
  • Pre-processor for Cable stayed bridges
SettingDescription
Node compare Comparison between two series of nodes. The differences between the series will be written to a file.
Element compare Comparison between two series of elements. The differences between the series will be written to a file.
Beam subdivision (new beam elements) Beam elements can be subdivided into a series of new beam elements.
Cable subdivision (new cable elements) Cable elements can be subdivided into a series of new cable elements.
Live Load Macro for BS5400 Part 2, 1978 Full life load macro for generating lane loading including lane combinations. Separately generated tcl file must be imported.
Live Load Macro for BD 37/01, 2001 Full life load macro for generating lane loading including lane combinations. Separately generated tcl file must be imported.
Live Load Macro for HK Standard 1997 Full life load macro for generating lane loading including lane combinations. Separately generated tcl file must be imported.
Pre-processor for Cable Stayed Briges Three step CSB pre-processor for setting up cable stressing loading and cable subdivisions including cable sag effects. Separately generated tcl file must be imported.
Preprocessor for moving load (Rolling Stock) Preprocessor for generating moving load analysis data (formulas, loadsets, ...) Separately generated tcl file must be imported.
