Label |
Type a label used to identify the load for application. |
Magnitude |
Select the method of specifying the pressure magnitude:
- Pressure - specify the Top Pressure and
Bottom Pressure on used. This allows a linear pressure gradient
vertically on a wall. If the pressure is uniform, these values will
be the same.
- Inertia Force, fraction of g - specify a
ratio of gravity, g, to use for the pressure. This is typically used
for applying seismic loads.
|
Direction |
Select the direction in which the pressure acts.
- Towards Primary Face
- Away from Primary Face
Note: The primary face of a wall is dispalyed in the elevation mode.

pressure loads table |
This table includes all lateral pressure loads defined in the model. |

Delete |
Click to delete the currently selected load in the table. If the load is
assigned in the model, a warning is displayed an the load is not
deleted. |
