For I-shaped steel beams, FloorVibeUK currently only explicitly recognizes UK UB- and UC-shapes, AISC metric W-shapes, and Australian UB- and WB-shapes. For other shapes the user must specify an equivalent shape or specify it as a User Defined shape. [Refer to the most recent version of the FloorVibeUK program's documentation for possible changes to this requirement.] In this way a bay composed of proprietary shapes such as a Cellular beams could be analyzed for vibration.

Channels and rectangular hollow sections are exported to FloorVibe as User Defined shapes.

Built-up I-shapes are exported to FloorVibe as User Defined shapes.
