For walls at foundation level, RAM Frame introduces additional foundation nodes when a finer mesh is generated. For instance, the following figure shows two different mesh configurations for the same wall segments. Note that the walls with the coarse mesh (a) have only 5 foundation nodes, whereas the finer meshed walls (b) have more.

Even though each wall with a fine mesh is more flexible compared to the other one, it also becomes stiffer because of having more foundation nodes.
