Other Column Section Properties dialog

Opens when PropTable > Column Sections is selected when Other is the current material.

Note: Unlike a concrete section, the Other material sections must have all the section properties entered. None will be calculated.

Setting	Description
Section Label	Type a unique label used to identify the section.
H	The rectangular beam depth.
B	The rectangular beam width.
Area	The gross cross-sectional area.
Ix	The moment of inertia about the strong axis.
Iy	The moment of inertia about the weak axis.
J	Torsional constant.
Shear Ax	The shear area along the strong (vertical) axis.
Shear Ay	The shear area along the weak (horizontal) axis.
Add	Adds the section label and section properties to the table.
Delete	Removes the currently selected section from the table. You may only delete sections that are not currently used in the model. If you attempt to delete a section in use, a warning is issued and the section is not deleted.
Change	Changes the currently selected section in the table. If the beam section is currently assigned in the model, the changes in properties will automatically be updated in those assignments.
