To add a cantilevered end to a beam or joist when the cantilever length is known.

1. Select the Input Value as Cantilever Length option.
2. Type the length of the cantilevered end in the Cantilever Length edit box.
3. Click Add. The dialog closes and RAM Modeler enters either the Add Cantilever Beam Layout Mode or the Add Cantiliver Joist Layout Mode.
4. Select the beam or joist to which a cantilever will be added.
5. Select the end of the beam or joist to which the cantilever will be added. The cantilever is added to that end.
6. (Optional) You can enter more cantilevers of the same length by repeating steps 4 and 5.
