When an engineer designs a building with multiple floors, it is not uncommon that several floors will have the same design. In this case, the engineer draws only one plan and then designates which floors it represents. The Floor Types command allows RAM Modeler to work the same way. A "typical" floor need only be modeled once and then it can be defined to represent several floors using the Story command.
