To modify wall eccentricities

Note: The changes only affect the default values that appear in the dialog boxes. Making changes to the defaults will not change the settings of members placed prior to the change.

Select either:

Layout > Walls > Assign Eccentricity

or
the Eccentricity tool from the Layout Wall dynamic toolbar

The Assign Wall Eccentricity dialog opens.

Select the method by which eccentricity is specified:

To calculate eccentricity as…	Do this…
1/2 the wall dimension plus a specified distance	select the Distance + 1/2 wall thickness option
an absolute distance from the wall centerline	select the Absolute distance from center line option

Note: Eccentricity is always measured orthogonal to the plane of the wall.

Type a Distance as it applies to the option selected in step 2.
Select a Single column or Fence a group of walls to apply the eccentricties.
