The Reports - Periods and Modes command generates a report listing the results of the eigen solution, including structural frequencies and periods, modal participation factors, modal direction factors and modal effective mass factors for each mode. This report is available only for models with rigid diaphragms and then only if an eigen solution has been performed. The Reports - Periods and Modes command will appear grayed-out in the Reports menu in all other cases.

For Semirigid diaphragms and pseudo-flexible diaphragms, diaphragm mass are distributed over diaphragm nodes or over frame joints, respectively. If Reports- Include Semirigid diaphragm nodal results command is activated, this section also include mode shape values at these nodes as well. It should be noted that the report can be too long of the command is activated.
