While in Westok Cellular Beam Material mode, the Layout – Westok Cellular Beam - Assign Duct command is available and can be used to specify the location of a mechanical duct that the web openings in the Cellular Beams must accommodate. The program will then select a beam of sufficient depth and with an opening of sufficient size to allow the duct of the specified size to pass through. A duct assignment may be cleared by selecting the “No Duct Specified” option of the Assign Duct Size command and then by selecting the desired beam or fencing group of beams. If very large web penetrations are needed, a web post may be removed and the section reinforced.
