Provisions covering slenderness effects in compression members are provided in Section 10.10. In the '05 edition of the code these provisions were covered in Sections 10.10 through 10.13. There is minimal change to the actual content of the provisions and the same analysis results will be obtained for both the '05 edition and the '08 edition.
