Purpose: To add a wall by using a distance offset from one end of an existing beam or wall and connecting to an existing column.

1. Select the Beam-To-Column (Dist) option button.
2. Type the distance from one end of the reference beam to the location of the end of the new wall in the Dist edit box. Note that a value of 0.00 for the distance is permissible.
3. Click Add. The dialog box will disappear and the RAM Modeler will enter the Add Wall Off-Grid Layout Mode.
4. Click the reference beam.
5. Select the end of the reference beam from which Dist is to be measured.
6. Click the reference column. The new wall will be added.
7. You can enter more walls by repeating the above steps.
