Final Remarks about the Implementation
Also note that:
- Orography factor co is calculated at building height (h) when it is used for peak velocity pressure, qb
- Peak velocity pressure qb is calculated at ze, reference height, which is defined in Figure 4.
- In calculation of structural factor cscd (or cs and cd), quantities are calculated at z = zs = 0.6h, where h = building height
- Local pressure coefficients (applies for loaded areas of 1 m2) are not taken into account. Only overall pressure coefficients (for loaded areas of 10 m2) are used.
- In calculation of
cscd (or cs and cd), the use of Table
4.1 might be needed. However, UK NA for EN 1991-1-4:2005 does not recognize
Terrain Categories (0, I, II, III, and IV). In this case, the followings are
assumed:
- If Terrain: Country is selected, Terrain I is assumed for Table 4.1.
- If Terrain: Town is selected, Terrain III is assumed for Table 4.1.
- If Terrain: Sea is selected, Terrain 0 is assumed for Table 4.1.
