Beams with Transfer Columns

For the different configurations of dt, e, and phi or Do and S, checked in the design process, openings coinciding with transfer columns are assumed infilled. The openings coinciding with transfer columns in the controlling design configuration displayed in the View/Update dialog are displayed with infills. The user may remove and re-evaluate the beam by assigning the controlling dt, e and phi or Do and S achieved during the design.

Note: Beams supporting transfer columns are tagged with a "T" label in the Summary Report, identified with the label "Inf @ Transf Col" on the Floor Map, Floor Fence, and DXF drawings. When a user defined configuration has infills, the infill distances from the I-End of the beam are shown on all reports and on the Floor Map, Floor Fence, and DXF drawings.

CAUTION: When infills in openings coinciding with transfer columns are removed and the beam re-analyzed, the transfer column label is no longer displayed in the reports and on the Floor Map, Floor Fence and DXF drawings.
