Selecting the View - Extents command causes the Select Extents dialog box to appear. With this dialog box, you can specify a section of the model to display by indicating a story range and/or specific coordinates.

You can enter the precise stories you wish to view in the Display Story Range group box by entering the top story and the bottom story to be displayed. Clicking OK will display the selected stories with all stories in between included in the view. The rest of the model will be cut away.

Alternately, you can enter specific coordinate ranges you wish to display in the Display Coordinate Range box. Clicking OK will display the section of the model that is between the input coordinates. The rest of the model will be cut away.

A combination of these commands can also be issued. Clicking the Set to Max button followed by clicking OK will return the extents to the full view of the model.
