If GB 50010 is selected as the design code in the concrete analysis module then design is based on the requirements of the Chinese design code: Design of Concrete Structures (GB 50010-2002). The implementations of the sections of the code accounting for the design of concrete beams are subject to certain assumptions and limitations as outlined in these technical notes.

The following codes have also been considered in the implementation:

• Code for seismic design of buildings (GB 50011-2001)
• Technical specification for concrete structures of tall buildings (JGJ 3-2002).
