Selecting the Layout - Beams - Show command will cause the Target Cursor to appear and the RAM Modeler to enter the Beam Show Layout Mode. Clicking near a beam will cause the Beam Show dialog box to appear.

The dialog box shows the Beam End and Support Locations (in current units), steel table assignment, deflection criteria assignment, maximum live load reduction percentage, Fy, frame type, user assigned depth restriction, user assigned Beam Size, and user assigned stud configuration, for the currently selected beam. For Frame beams and Concrete and Other Gravity beams, end fixity will also be shown.

Clicking the OK button will cause the dialog box to disappear and the RAM Modeler will return to Beam Show Layout Mode, allowing you to repeat the operation for other beams. Clicking the Cancel button will cause the dialog box to disappear and the RAM Modeler will return to Normal Mode.

Return to the Layout - Beams menu with the "M" key.

Clicking the Cancel button or selecting any other RAM Modeler Layout command will end the Layout - Beams - Show command.
