The calculation of axial compressive capacity for Double Angles for U.S. codes considers the limit state of flexural-torsional buckling as detailed in ASD and LRFD Specification E3. The calculation of the maximum intermediate connector spacing per ASD and LRFD Specification E4.1 likewise considers flexural-torsional buckling.
