Options - Renumber Members

The Options - Renumber Members command is used to renumber the members in your model using the software’s numbering scheme.

As you layout your model, the RAM Modeler assigns numbers to the members in the order that they were created. This numbering scheme remains in effect, even if members are subsequently added or deleted, until you invoke the renumber command.

Once the Options - Renumber Members command has been invoked, the member numbers are reassigned using the software’s numbering scheme. This scheme numbers the members consecutively from the lower left-hand corner to the upper right-hand corner of the model. Beams, Columns, Braces and Walls are numbered independently.

Once the model has been renumbered, you cannot go back to the original layout numbers.

Once the command has been invoked, the new assignment will remain until the command is invoked again. Any subsequently added members will be assigned the next available number.
