Add Section Cuts dialog
Used to manually define a section cut parameters after a section cut line is drawn.
The Add Section Cuts dialog opens when is selected.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Label | The Section Cut Label may be changed by typing in the desired text. Note that labels are automatically generated with the form SC + next index number. |
| Offset Distance | the distance from the reference edge. The reference edge is listed on the line below the Offset Distance field. Change this value to change the position of the Section Cut. |
| Include Beam beneath Wall (if any) | Set this option to consider the forces in beams crossed by any section cut. |
| Include Columns at wall ends (if any) | Set this option to consider the forces in columns crossed by any section cut. |
Clicking OK saves these settings and add the section cut (drawing with a green line on the model). Clicking Cancel closes the dialog without adding a section cut.
