Layout - Braces - Change Properties
Selecting the Layout - Braces - Change Properties command will cause the Brace Change Properties Mode dialog box to appear. In this dialog box, you will change the material properties of your braces. Depending on the material chosen from the Materials menu, the contents of the dialog box will vary.
For Steel Braces: Enter a new Fy value.
For Concrete or 'Other' Braces:
- Select the property or properties to be changed from the Items to Change box.
- Enter a new value in the Properties box for each property selected.
Once entries have been made in the Braces Change Properties dialog box, click either Single or Fence.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Single: | Click the target cursor on the brace whose properties you wish to change. |
| Fence: | Fence an area in which the properties of all braces will be changed. |
Return to the Change Brace Properties dialog box with the Right Mouse Button or the "D" key.
Return to the Layout - Braces menu with the " M" key
Clicking the Cancel button or selecting any other RAM Modeler Layout command will end the Layout - Braces - Change Properties command.
