The View -Tool Bar command controls whether or not the Tool Bar will be displayed or not. When the menu item appears with a check mark, the Tool Bar is displayed. No check mark means the Tool Bar is hidden. To toggle the state of the Tool Bar, click the View -Tool Bar menu item.
