This section lists the X-, Y-, and rotational components of the mode shape for each mode. It should be noted that calculated mode shapes are normalized with respect to the building mass matrix. Thus, Mode Shapes values are units-dependent. However, this choice does not affect analysis results. A special note is included at the end of the report to provide some guidance regarding mode shapes and their relationship to the selected units.

For Semirigid diaphragms and pseudo-flexible diaphragms, diaphragm mass are distributed over diaphragm nodes or over frame joints, respectively. If Reports- Include Semirigid diaphragm nodal results command is activated, this section also include mode shape values at these nodes as well. It should be noted that the report can be too long of the command is activated.
