Wind Forces: Section 5.2

Wind force is calculated according to the following equation:

c_sc_d	=	structural factor (Section 6)
A_ref	=	reference area
$\sum (w_{e} A_{r e f})$	=	summation over surfaces

It is assumed that building is tightly sealed and therefore, internal pressures cancel each other (i.e., open and partially open structures are not addressed in this implementation). In this case, only external pressure components are included in calculation of wind pressure (F_w = F_(w,e)). Also note that wind pressure calculations for roof are not included and friction forces on roof and sidewalls are ignored.
