Layout - Braces - Change Material
The Layout - Brace - Change Materials command allows you to change braces of one material to braces of a different material.
- From the Material menu, select the material to which a column is to be changed.
- Go into the Layout - Braces - Change Material menu. The properties of the New Material will be visible. Make changes if desired.
- Click either Single or Fence.
| Setting | Description |

| Single: | Click the target cursor on the brace whose material you would like to change to the new material. The color of the brace will change to indicate the present material assignment. Default colors are set at the time of installation but can be modified using the Options - Pen Color command while in Plan Mode. |
| Fence: | Fence an area in which all braces will be changed to the new material. The color of the brace will change to indicate the present material assignment. Default colors are set at the time of installation but can be modified using the Options - Pen Color command while in Plan Mode. |
Return to the Change Brace Material dialog box with the Right Mouse Button or the "D" key.
Return to the Layout - Braces menu with the " M" key
Clicking the Cancel button or selecting any other RAM Modeler Layout command will end the Layout - Braces - Change Material command.
