Decking Properties describe the Decking Type, Stud Properties, concrete fill properties and shoring information of all of the composite decking and the slab thickness of all concrete slabs in the model.

Several composite deck property types are included with RAM Modeler. You can make additions or deletions to this table by editing the deck file (e.g., RAMDECKS.DCK) in the TABLES Directory. For more information on modifying this file, see the User's Manual.

Selecting PropTable > Decking opens the Deck Property Information dialog. Properties used to determine self-weight and diaphragm stiffness (used when the diaphragm is specified as Semirigid in RAM Frame) are entered here. Additionally, the properties defined on the Composite Floor System tab are used to calculate composite beam section properties in RAM Steel Beam Design, and the properties defined on the Concrete Floor System tab are used to calculate concrete tee-beam flange properties in RAM Frame and RAM Concrete.
