The implementation of BS8110 incorporates relevant foundation design topics from BS8110 Part 1 & 2. Unless otherwise noted, all references are to BS8110: Part 1: 1997. The BS8110 concrete load combinations have been developed using BS8110: Part 1, Table 2.1. The soil load combinations have been developed using what is considered to be standard practice in the UK.
