The Design all option is used to automatically design all of the Spread, Pile or Continuous footings in the model. The Status bar will display the number of the current footing that is being designed. If there is an error with the design of a given footing it will also be displayed in the status bar. Footings that are not ready for design will be skipped. Footings that have been set to User Defined (Blue color) will be checked and not optimized

• To Design all of the footings regardless of type select Design - All Footings from the Process menu.
• To Design all of the Spread Footings select Design - Spread Footings from the Process menu.
• To Design all of the Pile Footings select Design - Pile Footings from the Process menu.
• To Design all of the Continuous Footings select Design - Continuous Footings from the Process menu.

The Process > View/Update menu item is used to change the design of a foundation member.

Items on the Assign menu are used to assign and change the soil properties, base plates, and surcharge loads on the foundation.
