Transverse Reinforcement Check Report

When fibres have been specified, the report notes that such is the case.

Edge beams are shown with an * to indicate that fibres were not considered for those beams.

The report lists the Total Asv Req'd for all beams for which the Provided Asv, specified by the user, is not adequate. For Dramix, the value shown for Total Asv Req'd is that required for conventional reinforcement in addition to the contribution of the Dramix steel fibres. For FibreFlor, the value shown for Total Asv Req'd is that required for conventional reinforcement ignoring the contribution of the FibreFlor fibres.

Note that in the Transverse Reinforcement Check dialog box the default for Provided Asv is 142 mm2/m, which assumes the use of reinforcing bars (or mesh). When the Engineer has specified fibres, he should set this value as appropriate (generally 0.0), so that the report will list those beams for which the fibres alone are inadequate.
