C-Beam Criteria dialog
This dialog is used to specify design parameter options for the design of C-Beam™.
The C-Beam Criteria dialog opens when is selected.
Criteria for both castellated beams (hexagonal openings) and cellular beams (round openings) are specified.
Dialog Controls
| Setting | Description |

| Increment of e | Specify the increment (in displayed units) for the clear edge distance used in castellated beams design. |
| Increment of dt | Specify the increment (in displayed units) for the depth of castellated beam design. |
| Increment of Do | Specify the increment (in displayed units) for the depth of the circular web openings in cellular beam designs. |
| Increment of S | Specify the increment (in displayed units) for the spacing of circular web openings in cellular beam designs. |
| Connection Type At | Select if the ends of C-Beam are connected by beam Web or flange Bearing when connected to Beams, Columns, and Walls. This affects the location of the holes. |
| Noncomposite Deflection | Select either the 0.9 Stiffness Reduction Method or Virtual Work Method option to use in the determination of the noncomposite deflection. |
